Anthony & Sylvan Dallas Swimming
Pool Division - Community Activities
We at Anthony & Sylvan are grateful for the support
we have received from our Dallas
swimming pool customers and associates. One of the
ways we show our appreciation is by honoring our obligations
to society, by being a contributing member, both economically
and socially, to the Texas communities in which we do
business. The hope is that society will be better, in
part, due to our philanthropy and community leadership.
We believe in supporting our local
communities by being a good neighbor...and investing
in our own backyard. From little leagues to public works
projects, Anthony & Sylvan is giving back and working
to make a difference in the Dallas, Texas area.
 Anthony
& Sylvan is proud to support organizations such
as The United Way and American Red Cross relief efforts
to rebuild communities when disasters strike. Companywide,
our employees annually contribute over $50,000 to United
Way chapters through our companywide employee
pledge drives and various fundraising events. These
contributions help fund programs in health and human
services agencies.
In addition, Anthony & Sylvan
employees donate their time by participating
in Days of Caring to help United Way agencies with much-needed
projects such as painting or planting gardens, preparing
and serving meals, and organizing events for seniors
or children, etc. Participation not only showcases our
volunteer spirit and commitment to making a difference
in the local Dallas communities, but also fosters our
employees’ team spirit and morale while having
fun.
The Dallas swimming pool division
is proud to contribute to various local community organizations
that our employees are passionate about supporting.
Some of these organizations include:
United Way
 The
Dallas division kicked off their 2007 United Way campaign
with a fun-filled afternoon of bowling. Three teams
of bowlers, comprised of both serious and novice bowlers,
were sponsored by a per pin pledge. Dallas pool employees
not bowling that afternoon were also involved in the
fun by voting for the team who would win.
Frisco Football League
Sales General Manager, Tim Charlton's son is a running back for the Frisco Oilers, one of the teams in the Frisco Football League. The FFL is celebrating it's 10th season and has grown into one of the largest Youth Football Leagues in North Texas. Over 100 teams and 2,000 kids participate in the FFL each season.
Anthony & Sylvan proudly helps to support the team's uniforms each year.
